Welcome

We offer group and private instruction in knitting and crocheting in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Small, cozy classes are held at various locations including Newburyport and Haverhill.

Anita Perkins, instructor and trainer, has been using hooks and needles to create unique creations for her and others since she was four. She teaches both the right-handed (British/American) and left-handed (Continental or speed knitting) methods of knitting. Beginners can easily learn to knit or crochet a scarf or hat in two private lessons or one four-week group session.

Men, women and children participate in all levels of instruction. They range from those who have never held needles to veteran fiber artists seeking to upgrade their skills. Experienced instructors also teach children in the Merrimac after school program. Other locations can be easily arranged.
